Wow, I haven't been on here in forever, and I don't know if anyone even is on here anymore.  I do have a myspace page and a facebook page, but I don't really write about stuff on there like I did on here.

Update on me............I don't teach anymore (got "eliminated" cuz of the school finances), but I am the part-time youth director @ our church (which I absolutely LOVE doing!).  There is so much to do in the area of youth in our church, and I am glad my boys are still in school (I will be home schooling next year).  My uncle recently passed away - he had ALS.  It was so sad to see my aunt and my cousins, my dad and my grandma trying to deal w/ his death.  I was so thankful we were able to go to Augusta, GA for the funeral - I only wish I would have visited when he was still living.

I guess that's it for now - it's late and I need to get to bed.  I still have to get up in the mornings - just not @ 5:30 anymore (7:00 to get the boys up and ready for school).  Toodles!

I've been wretched about writing on here.  School has started and I'm back in the first grade (teaching, that is, not as a student! )  I only have 13 in my class, but it's enough.  I have a special needs student that makes it seem like 20 at times.  But he is improving and I love all the kids I teach (I also get to teach my youngest son and that is going well - I make him call me Mrs. Leonard).  We just got back from Iowa - Patrick's last grandparent - Pa - passed away and Patrick did the funeral service - He did great!!  I don't know how he could do it - I'd be bawling all over myself.
Not much more exciting stuff going on.  I am wanting to get back to writing songs, because that seems to be what brings me the closest to my Father, and I haven't done that in a long while.  I miss getting to sing them and have someone to help me write them.  Hopefully God will send someone this way soon to help me.  Either that, or give me the gift of playing the piano.  Oh well!
Peace - Sarah

Oh my goodness I am so horrible in updating!  School ended well, and I've been sooooo busy this summer.  We had VBS the week after school let out.  I did music and talk about a workout!!  Whew!  It was super fun and I loved it!  We had a short revival after that, which went very well, and then my sister and her husband and my niece and my grandma all came out - whew!  We went everywhere - to DC, to Annapolis to visit my cousin and took their boat out on the bay (the boys got to go tubing - it was fun to watch!), and then back home to recuperate.  We've been remodeling our bathroom, and I am sooo glad it's done.  It looks so nice now.  We are going to Iowa tomorrow and will be gone a week - Pat's family is having a family reunion and they are throwing a surprise anniversary party for his parents - 40 years!  Should be good!  School starts in a month, and I think (maybe) I'll be ready.  I have enjoyed sleeping in and not having to do grades and lesson plans, but I still need to finish reading some books and write a paper for a philosophy class - whee.  Oh well!  Hope everyone is well.
Peace,
Sarah

The ultrasound showed nothing, so the doctor said my uterus must be naturally large (ugh).  Whee.  Oh well, I am thankful it was nothing, and for all the prayers lifted up for me.
We play for the championship in our softball tourney thursday (woo hoo!!) and I pray the girls play like they have been for most of the season.  It has been so neat to be a part of the team, and the girls have worked their way into my heart.
School is almost over (whew!), and I'm ready for the summer, although it proves to be busy w/ VBS, my sister and her family and my Grandma visiting, my parents visiting, us going to Iowa for a week, and hopefully painting some of our house.  I hope to scrapbook this summer, because I am so stinkin far behind!!  I really hope to do that!  Welp, I need to go.  Hope those still left in xangaland are doing well.

The doctor is pretty sure I have a fibroid tumor in my uterus.  I had an ultrasound yesterday and hope to get the results back tomorrow.  Just thankful it's not cancer.  On another note, I miss my sister.
